Organizational Carbon Footprint Verification

The project consisted of verifying the first consolidated Organizational Carbon Footprint of Nutrisco S.A. for 2024, as part of its application for the quantification seal of the HuellaChile Voluntary Certification System. It included the operations of Orizon, Valle Frío, Flip, FiordoSur, and Nutrisco Chile.

Approach and Project Implementation

The advisory was structured around three main actions:

  • Review of the calculation tool used to quantify the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with the consolidated operations of Nutrisco S.A. during 2024.
  • Verification of activity data to confirm consistency between the information reported by Nutrisco and the results obtained in the quantification.
  • Identification and resolution of observations through technical queries addressed by the counterpart responsible for the quantification, granting conformity to the verification process.

This process allowed Nutrisco S.A. to apply for and obtain the quantification seal of the HuellaChile Voluntary Certification System.
