Meanwhile, Exempt Resolution No. 624 introduces a preliminary adjustment to the Transmission Toll for 2024-1. A final resolution is still pending, expected to take effect on January 1 and apply for six months.
This toll is designed to finance transmission infrastructure and is composed of three components: national transmission, zonal transmission, and infrastructure for complementary services.
The national transmission charge is set at CLP 4.6/kWh for both regulated and free customers, representing a 38.9% increase compared to the second half of 2023.
For the zonal toll, the system is divided into six zones (A–F). The Metropolitan Region and Valparaíso are generally included in System D. Updated charges per system and client type, along with their respective variations from the previous period, are detailed in the new resolution.
